The Mission

alaska-banner (3)Who would have ever thought that the Lord would call on a small church in Michigan to share the Good News with our neighbors in Alaska? We certainly didn’t see this divine invitation coming, but for the past five years and counting, we have been sending a team to Copper Center to do just that. We have been blessed to work with a local Pastor and his family to give the children and families in the Copper River Valley an opportunity to learn about Jesus through Vacation Bible School.  We may not always know what God has in store for us as we journey to the Last Frontier year after year, but we undoubtedly know that we have been called according to His purpose. It is a joy to share Christ’s love with our brothers and sisters 3,600 miles away, but we believe that our story makes an impact on all who hear it. We encourage all of our visitors to explore our blog to learn more about what we do in Alaska, hear firsthand stories from our volunteers, and reflect on their own personal walks with the Lord. Who knows? Perhaps this is the moment for which you’ve been created.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
